One of the perks of my job is that I’m offered books in exchange for review. I rarely do this but with a son who is allergic to a million things, this felt like a safe bet. LOVING it so far. Will be posting my favs this week.
So far I’ve made the banana pancakes, which were AH-MAZEBALLS, even though I don’t love bananas. Impressive……
The BBQ sauce is killer and SO VERY EASY. The list of ingredients in most BBQ sauces is frightening, so this was fantastic considering the amount of BBQ sauce my son goes through…
We’ll see how many recipes I get through this week, but right now I have these intriguing ones marked:
SWEDISH PANCAKES (These are GF crepes)
HOT CEREAL
CHOCOLATE MUFFINS (because hello chocolate in the form of a muffin)
GRANOLA (becauase I love me some homemade granola)
Update: Made this morning! The almond and vanilla add SO much. SO MUCH. My house smells amazing, the recipe is SUPAH easy, and it tastes as good as it smells (which isn’t always the case…)
PHOTO EVIDENCE:
SWEET POTATO EGG CUPS (because sweet potatoes are one of my fav ever foods)
ZUCCHINI STICKS (because I’m one of those people who really loves zucchini)
CREAMY CHICKEN NOODLES
ONE POT CHICKEN DINNER WITH WHITE WINE AND GARLIC
BEEF STEW
CAULIFLOWER RICE
WHIPPED SWEET POTATO
ALMOND BREAD (hoping to do this one today…)
JALAPENO SKILLET BREAD
ZUCCHINI BROWNIES
FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE (but only if it warms up this week, because we’re at -20 fahrenheit)
So, I’m hoping to get through as many of these recipes as I can paired w/ my insanely busy week.
SHOULD BE FUN 😀
I definitely want to hear how the chocolate muffins and frozen hot chocolate turn out (again, when it’s warmer. It’s above zero here, but not by much).
A cool perk to have!
I’ve never made my own bbq sauce. It’d be fun to try. I like cooking, but I don’t vary much out of my safe zone. I should do more though.
