This has been one crazy spring!
All the Forever Things, known for the previous two years as my “funeral home girl book” was released April 1, 2017.
Gabe is a lovely, awkward girl, who is (I will admit) a little more of myself than I’ve done before. Awkward, a little naive, with a great family, and very few friends. This is a story about a girl who has found a happy place and wants nothing to change, but life always does, and Gabe reacts terrible, as we often do.
Friendships in high school are funny things, and we allow far too many small issues get in the way of what could be great friendships. We also get distracted by things like shiny new projects, or…cute boys.
When I first started this project, I wanted this to be an ADDAMS FAMILY meets a JOHN HUGHES movie. And while readers will come up with their own ideas, assessment, and feelings about this book, those are still mine.
I could write in this setting for a very long time.
You can find Gabe’s (Gabriella) story on AMAZON and BARNES AND NOBLE.
Thank you!
